Customer terms of service
How buying eligible pickup meals through MunchTab works, and what you can expect from us.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1.About these terms
These terms govern your use of the MunchTab consumer app and website to discover and buy eligible pickup meals from participating restaurants.
By creating a MunchTab account or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2.Who sells your food
MunchTab sells you the eligible pickup meal. The restaurant supplies that meal to MunchTab wholesale. This seller-and-supplier model is what lets us show one clear price with no delivery fee and no service charge.
Only dishes a restaurant has published to its dedicated MunchTab menu are eligible. For anything else, we link you to the restaurant to transact directly.
3.Your weekly tab
Your weekly tab is an authorised spending limit — not stored money and not a wallet. Nothing is held on your behalf.
Eligible meals you confirm count towards your limit during the week and settle together in a single payment.
4.Payment and settlement
Completed orders settle once a week, on Wednesday, using your saved payment method.
You are billed only for orders that were fulfilled, or that are contractually chargeable — for example a meal prepared and ready that you did not collect.
5.Cancellations and collection
- You can cancel free of charge before the restaurant begins preparing your order.
- Once preparation has started, the meal may be chargeable because ingredients and kitchen time are committed.
- If a prepared, ready meal is not collected, it may still be charged to your weekly tab.
6.Allergens and your responsibility
Allergen information is shown before you confirm any meal and retained with your order. If you have a severe allergy, always confirm directly with the restaurant, as preparation environments can change.
7.Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, MunchTab is not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
