Everything you need to know about tabs, payments, collection and eating out with MunchTab.
Your weekly tab is an authorised spending limit for MunchTab pickup meals. It is not stored money or a wallet — nothing is held on your behalf. As you confirm eligible meals, they count towards that limit, and everything you complete in the week settles together in a single payment.
Completed orders settle together once a week, on Wednesday. You are only billed for orders that were fulfilled, or that are contractually chargeable — for example a meal prepared and ready that you did not collect.
No. MunchTab is pickup only, so there is no delivery fee and no service charge. You pay the clear retail price shown on the dedicated meal, and that is the amount added to your weekly tab.
When you confirm a meal you receive a signed QR code and a six-digit code. Show either at the counter when you arrive. Collections are timed to preparation, so your food is ready when you are.
You can cancel before the restaurant begins preparing your order at no cost. Once preparation has started, the meal may be chargeable because the restaurant has already committed ingredients and kitchen time.
If a meal was prepared and ready for you but not collected, it may still be charged to your weekly tab, because the restaurant fulfilled its side. We will always show clear timings so you know when your food is ready.
MunchTab sells the eligible pickup meal to you. The restaurant supplies that meal to MunchTab. This seller and supplier relationship is what lets us offer one clear price with no added fees.
Allergen information is shown before you confirm any meal, and the item-specific version is retained with your order. If you have questions, contact the restaurant or our support team before collecting.
No. Only meals a restaurant has published to its dedicated MunchTab menu are eligible. For the full restaurant menu or a table booking, we link you to the restaurant so you can transact with them directly.
Acceptance of an order creates a wholesale purchase order, and handover confirms the supplier payable. Restaurants receive a single weekly settlement on Wednesday for the orders they fulfilled — earned from completed orders, not a withdrawable balance.
