MunchTab started with a simple frustration: eating out from your favourite local spot had quietly become expensive, fee-laden and impersonal. We wanted to fix that.
Why we built MunchTab
Delivery apps promised convenience and delivered markups — inflated menu prices, service charges, delivery fees and a checkout full of surprises. Independent restaurants lost margin, and diners lost the joy of a simple, fair meal.
MunchTab takes a different path. We focus on pickup, so there are no delivery costs to pass on. We buy dedicated meals wholesale from restaurants and sell them to you at one honest price. And instead of nickel-and-diming every order, we settle everything you collect in a single weekly tab.
